“The Best Bug Party EVER!”

Inch, Crawl, Fly or Hop on into my party…

Hey, check out my paper garland above inspired by TomKat Studio. When I saw her tutorial, I knew I had to make it for the party.
Here’s some more Bug Bites…
The “dirt” cakes were so delicious.  Who knew oreo crumbs and buttercream were a heavenly combination!?
The kids had a blast with the activities.

We caught bugs all over the house (it was pouring down rain outside!)

Little artists bloomed as we colored “bug jars”…
Dragonflies dropped from the sky
(totally inspired by Kate’s Garden Party by TomKat Studio)
and my favorite facepainter, Susanne, turned our faces and hands into bugs.
Feeding Time
After being busy bees, we swormed to some refreshments!
mmm, bug juice
and sweets!

The guests took these favors back to their nests

glow in the night bug lights
insect silly bands
nets for chasing fireflies
(thank you Target Dollar Spot!)
Tate says
“this is the best bug party ever!”
t-shirt by T for Ty.  He loved it!!!

hi! i made the dragon fly drop by punching out paper dragon flies with a punch I found at Michaels in coordinating papers. I folded them down the middle slightly. We dropped them from the upstairs balcony to the kids who were waiting with their nets.
