Cake Topper Collections: Coming Soon!

easter-cake-topper-oh-goodie-designs

My good friend Kristy is battling cancer round 2. She is such a fighter and has asked me to keep her busy while she undergoes treatments. We have decided to add these cake toppers to our shop. These Kristy can die cut on her craft machine and stay busy during the day while in the hospital or during the day while the kids are in school.

I have been busy designing collections for her to cut and assemble. I love what we have come up with so far.

I know Easter is right around the corner but they are quick to make and can ship fast. Besides what better way to celebrate our new collection than being blessed with Life and Hope.

Just you wait as Mother’s Day is adorable and our Birthday and Summer collection is to die for!

I am so proud of my friend as she smiles through the pain. I am honored to help her in any way possible. Part of the profits will go to Kristy’s travel fund as she travels back and forth to Houston for chemo.

Thank you for spreading the word and possibly purchasing a set.

The set comes with the cake toppers on sticks and two feet of color coordinated party fringe for your cake stand for $12.

Check out our shop for more of what is available!

A Holiday Birthday: Celebrate!

image seen here
Weather you celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah in December, how do you keep birthdays special that also fall in that month?  With the hustle and bustle of holiday preparations it seems that other events can take a back seat.  Of course that is not the intention as we all want our family and friends to have the happiest of birthdays.

If you are someone who has a birthday in December, how has it felt to share the spotlight with a major holiday?  What are ways that you have kept the birthdays special for that special someone?  We would love to hear your creative approaches to this issue.

In the meantime, I would like to wish my sister and my niece the happiest of birthdays.  I love you both dearly and am so proud to be your family.

Happy Birthday!

Winter Wonderland: Celebrate with Snow

It just occured to me that as planning for my daughter’s 13th birthday next week, I had not posted pictures from last years party. WOW!

Last year’s party was a winter wonderland in icy blues, luster dust and golden hues. Blue is her favorite color so we used it as mucha as we could. We meet for lunch with her friends then had a super fun mall scavenger hunt. The girls all had a blast!

A Picnic in the Park: It’s the Perfect Party!

What a fun day in the park for Charlie’s 2nd birthday!!

We all gathered in the park to enjoy hot dogs, homemade sides and delicious desserts.

It was a great day for family reminiscing of years spent at this specific park. This is the reason why Charlie’s Mom wanted to incorporate oilcloth and a vintage feel because that is what reminds her of those special outings with family from years ago.

The guests enjoyed many activities like swimming, fishing, feeding the ducks, bubble blowing, sidewalk chalk art and of course a pinata!

Paletas cooled off the guests and it wouldn’t be a picnic without bees as they hovered over our Aquas Frescas.

Charlie says, “Enough pictures, let’s get this party started!”

It was a super fun day and I think Charlie had a great birthday!! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!

Bridal Shower Inspiration: Fall into Wood Decor

Fall is upon us and the leaves on the trees will begin to change. Tree accents at weddings are very popular these days. Here is a little inspiration for an upcoming bridal shower I am planning.

The happy couple was engaged under a large oak tree, so I find it fitting to style their shower with tree accents.

Here are are few of my ideas.

Looking forward to their special day.  Happy Fall!!
